Terms of Service

Welcome to BDOWorkshop.com, operated by SIA Ochir ("we," "us," or "our"). It is a passion project to make some useful tools for BDO. We are not affiliated with Pearl Abyss. By accessing or using our website https://bdoworkshop.com (the "Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Website.

1. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not: Post or transmit harmful, unlawful, or offensive content. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems. Interfere with the Website's functionality or security.

2. Accounts

You can create an account by signing in with a third-party provider (Discord, Google, Steam, or Twitch). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account. You can connect or disconnect sign-in providers and permanently delete your account and its data at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Supporter Accounts and Supporter Upgrades

Supporter status is an optional extra. A supporter account receives one functional benefit: its screenshot uploads are processed ahead of other accounts in the processing queue. Supporters may also hold titles and other cosmetic extras, described below, that change how the account's public name is shown on the Website; these carry no other benefit. There are two ways an account becomes a supporter: buying a supporter upgrade, or subscribing to our Twitch channel.

Supporter upgrades

A supporter upgrade is a one-time purchase of a supporter tier on the Supporter page of your account settings. Each tier is a digital product delivered to your account. It includes permanent supporter status (priority screenshot processing), the tier's title together with the titles of every tier priced below it, the name colors, badges and avatar ring those titles unlock on your public profile, an animated name on the highest tier, and the option to be listed on the supporters page. Each tier's price and exactly what it unlocks are shown on the Supporter page before you buy. Prices are in euro; for buyers in the European Union they include VAT, and any tax due elsewhere is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

The upgrade is applied to your account automatically once the payment is confirmed, normally within a minute. If it has not appeared within a day, contact us (section 12). Supporter status and titles belong to the account that bought them: they cannot be transferred to another account, exchanged for money or resold.

Order processing, billing and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy a supporter upgrade, your purchase contract is with Paddle and is subject to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms; Paddle charges you, collects any applicable tax and issues your invoice or receipt. We never receive or store your payment details.

Refunds are handled by Paddle under its refund policy and your statutory rights. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days; because a supporter upgrade is digital content delivered to your account immediately, by completing the purchase you ask for it to be delivered right away and acknowledge that you lose that right to cancel once it has been delivered. Beyond that, Paddle may refund a purchase at its discretion, for example when an upgrade was not applied to your account and we cannot fix it. To request a refund, contact Paddle at paddle.net or write to us (section 12) and we will pass the request on. If a purchase is refunded, reversed or charged back, the supporter status and titles it bought are removed from the account.

Twitch subscriptions

Subscribing to our Twitch channel (twitch.tv/BairogHaan) grants supporter status temporarily: while your subscription is active and your Twitch account is connected here, the status renews automatically for as long as we can confirm the subscription. Because of this, it may take a short time to appear after you subscribe, and may remain active for a short time after a subscription ends. If your subscription ends, lapses, is cancelled or is refunded, supporter status simply stops renewing and expires on its own. A Twitch subscription grants supporter status only; it does not include titles or the other extras of a supporter upgrade.

A Twitch subscription is a purchase from Twitch, governed by Twitch's (and, for Prime subscriptions, Amazon's) own terms, pricing, billing and refund policies. We never receive or store your payment details, and we cannot cancel or refund a subscription for you; please direct any billing, cancellation or refund request to Twitch. We are not affiliated with Twitch or Amazon.

Changes to supporter benefits

We may add, change or retire tiers, titles and cosmetic extras over time. Retiring or repricing a tier does not take away what you already bought: the titles and extras granted to your account stay. Priority processing only makes a difference when other uploads are waiting, and we do not guarantee any particular processing time or queue position. If we suspend or terminate your account under section 10 for a violation of these Terms, remaining supporter benefits are forfeited without refund.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, and code, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial or fair use.

5. User Content

If you submit content (e.g., comments, reviews, or uploads), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display that content on the Website. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe on third-party rights.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Website is subject to our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these websites. Accessing them is at your own risk.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Website will be error-free, secure, or always available.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages (e.g., direct, indirect, incidental) arising from your use of the Website.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website at our discretion, especially if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
